Dr. Yurfest began his working career at the ripe old age of seven, where he helped in the family grocery business and was instilled with a strong work ethic. This work ethic paid off, as Dr. Yurfest worked his way through dental and orthodontic school (along with the help of scholastic scholarships).
In 1975, Dr Yurfest was recruited by a professor to come to Atlanta, GA to join the practice of Dr. Marvin Goldstein, who was the world’s pioneer in adult orthodontic treatment. Today in 2007 Dr. Yurfest is still in the same location, and he's still a specialist in adult orthodontics as well as many other specialties. These specialties include: leading provider of Invisalign braces in the nation, specialist in early orthodontic treatment for children, TMJ specialist, and specialist in accelerated orthodontics.
Along with his professional advancement, Dr. Yurfest is a proud dad of three children, a husband, and an active member of the Atlanta community where he donates time and talent to various organizations in need of his expertise.
Dr. Yurfest can be found singing, telling jokes, and having fun daily at work, a job he still has a passion for after all these years!
